When I was a five-year-old boy growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I asked God to give me wisdom and the reason was that, for some reason, the Spirit gave me the thought that "I want my Kingdom to last a long time." Why I would think the Kingdom of God belonged to me in particular is an interesting question that only God can answer but apparently it did. In any case, my asking for such a sacred thing as wisdom at that young age made what might have been a profoundly tragic life into a blessing for all mankind.
Below, please find "The Toddler Prayer of Saint Thomas Africanus Adams the Divine." It is a prayer for small children the age of two or older that should prove a great help in improving their lives and the lives of all their neighbors, but adults of any age can pray it also:
TODDLER PRAYER OF SAINT THOMAS ORIGEN THE DIVINE.
Abba(father), please grant me all those things in life that money cannot buy,
And please grant me perfect: knowledge, wisdom, understanding, discipline, insight, discernment, judgment, good sense, faith, hope, charity, and ability to overcome temptation. All this I ask in the blessed and holy Names of Y’shua (Jesus):the Creator, the Holy Spirit, and all the angels and saints of creation.
